Leading low-cost airline Sun Country Airlines has just announced that it will begin flying to Belize starting on December 22, 2018. Throughout the 2018/19 winter season, Sun Country will be flying non-stop from its hub at Minneapolis-St. Paul (code: MSP) to the Philip Goldson Airport in Belize City (code: BZE), a journey of about five hours.
Sun Country Airlines will be flying its new Minneapolis-Belize City route between December 22, 2018, and April 20, 2019, to bring residents of the Upper Midwest to the sunny climes of Belize. The new route will make Minneapolis the 10th city in the United States to offer non-stop service to Belize along with the Canadian cities of Calgary and Toronto. The new Sun Country route to Belize, including return flights to Minneapolis, will operate once a week on each Saturday throughout the winter season.
