Auto rentals are most often recommended to travelers who want to leave the Placencia area and go sightseeing at the Jaguar Reserve or take the unbeaten path to Red Bank or embrace the vibrant culture of Hopkins. With not many vehicles on the roads of Belize, it is very simple and easy to get around.

We currently rent only SUVs: Jeep Patriot and Jeep Liberty. These have been ideal for the
Belize road conditions. We do not rent vehicles with 4-wheel drive and have not done so in over
10 years.

We encourage clients to take Auto rentals only when it is absolutely necessary. Having a limited number of car rentals, SUV rentals, and auto rentals in general, it is always wise to book in advance as rentals are booked out pretty easily. A minimum number of 2 days rental is required for advance bookings. We only accept one-day auto rental bookings for use within 48 hours.

Rentals may be rented daily, weekly, and monthly.

Discounted rates are not applicable and Minimum of 2 rental days is required for the period Dec 15 to Jan 10.

All posted rates and discounts apply to clients booking directly. Wholesalers and travel agents may contact us for a list of our agent rates.

Discounted rate does not apply during Dec 20 – Jan 10.

All tours need a minimum number of participants to be confirmed.

Tours may be cancelled because of unsafe weather conditions and if minimum number of participants requirement is not met. We promise to update you as soon as possible if there are any changes with your tour.

 

Reservation Policy

To confirm any reservation a valid AMEX, Master Card, or Visa credit card is required at booking.

Deposit/Cancellation Policy  

We appreciate your trust in us and we promise to provide you with peace of mind when you book with Barefoot Services.

We encourage you to purchase Travel Insurance to cover cancellation fees or date changes or unforeseen circumstances, we have no control over.

DEPOSIT POLICY

  • To confirm your booking, a deposit of 50% is required immediately, full payment must be received within 16 days of service begin date.
  • Kindly note that the confirmation invoice reflects charges in BZE Dollars.
  • Barefoot Services reserves the right to charge client’s credit card a reservation deposit

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellations are only accepted in writing.
  • Cancellations received more than 15 days prior to service begin date receive 85% refund.
  • Cancellations received within 15 days of service begin date receive 65% refund
  • Cancellations received within 7 days of service begin date receive 45% refund
  • Cancellations received within 3 days of service begin date receive no refund
  • 90% of all cancellation fees outside the 3 days mark (immediately above) may be held on account for use for up to 6 months. These funds are non-transferable.
