Belize International Airport (BZE) to Placencia
Private door-to-door transportation from Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport to hotels, resorts and vacation rentals throughout the Placencia Peninsula. The drive generally takes approximately 2.5–3 hours, depending on traffic, road conditions and requested stops.
Placencia to Belize International Airport (BZE)
Private departure transfers can be scheduled from accommodations throughout the Placencia Peninsula directly to BZE. Pickup times are planned around the international flight departure time and recommended airport check-in requirements.
Placencia to San Ignacio
Travel privately between Placencia and San Ignacio with door-to-door transportation connecting Southern Belize and the Cayo District. This route can also be customized with a pre-arranged sightseeing or activity stop.
Placencia to Hopkins or Hopkins to Placencia

Placencia to Punta Gorda & Toledo
Travel privately between Placencia and Punta Gorda or other destinations in the Toledo District. This route is convenient for guests staying at properties such as Copal Tree Lodge, as well as travelers arriving in Punta Gorda by boat from Honduras or Guatemala who need onward transportation to Placencia or elsewhere in Belize.
Placencia to Belmopan
Private transportation is available between Placencia and Belmopan, with pickups and drop-offs also available for accommodations and attractions along the route. This is a convenient option for travelers staying in areas such as Sleeping Giant or Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch while combining inland Belize with a stay in Placencia.
Placencia to Belize City
Private transfers connect Placencia with Belize City, including hotels, the Belize City water taxi terminals and other confirmed pickup or drop-off locations. This route works especially well for travelers continuing by water taxi to San Pedro or Caye Caulker, or arriving from the islands and continuing their Belize vacation in Placencia.

How long is the transfer from Belize International Airport to Placencia?
The drive from Belize International Airport (BZE) to Placencia generally takes approximately 2.5–3 hours, depending on traffic, road conditions and any planned stops.
Are Barefoot Services transfers private?
Yes. Our private transfers provide a dedicated vehicle and driver for the confirmed guests rather than a scheduled shared shuttle.
Where will my driver meet me at Belize International Airport?
After clearing immigration and collecting luggage, guests exit the international arrivals area. A Barefoot Services representative or driver will be waiting outside with the lead guest’s name on a sign.
Can you pick me up from my hotel or vacation rental in Placencia?
Yes. We provide door-to-door pickup and drop-off at hotels, resorts, vacation rentals and other confirmed locations throughout the Placencia Peninsula.
Can I book a transfer between Placencia and San Ignacio?
Yes. Private transfers are available between Placencia and San Ignacio proper, making it easy to combine Belize’s coast with the Cayo District in one vacation. We also provide transfer to Mountain Pinridge locations.
Can we stop somewhere during our Belize transfer?
Depending on the route and schedule, stops for meals, sightseeing or activities may be arranged in advance. Ask us about available options when booking.
How much luggage can we bring?
Our general guideline is one large suitcase plus one carry-on, or two medium pieces plus one carry-on, per traveler. Please advise us in advance about excessive or oversized luggage, as additional transportation or a surcharge may be required.
Do you provide child car seats?
No. Barefoot Services does not provide child car seats. For safety, suitability and proper installation, parents or guardians should travel with a car seat appropriate for their child’s age, height, weight and individual needs. Families are welcome to install and use their own car seat during their private transfer.
Can you accommodate families and larger groups?
Yes. We provide private Belize transportation for couples, families and groups of various sizes. The vehicle is selected based on the number of passengers and luggage requirements. For larger groups, MCI-style buses or similar vehicles can be arranged and are priced separately based on the group size, route and transportation needs.
Can I book both my arrival and departure transfers?
Yes. Arrival and departure transportation can be arranged together, as well as transfers between destinations during a multi-stop Belize vacation.

To confirm a request, a nonrefundable deposit of US $25 is required immediately for a (one) service.
When they are booked individually. This does not apply for group services, group bookings, personalized itineraries, and other combined services.
The balance will be processed within 16 days of the service begin date.
All our rates are quoted in USD dollars.
Please consider that your card issuer may have international transaction fees.
Take note that US $1.00 is converted to Belize $2.00.
Barefoot Services reserves the right to charge or not charge your credit card a reservation deposit. This may apply to a repeat customer, a client who is deciding on other services, and other kinds of scenarios.
