Feel the freedom of riding horseback along Belize’s stunning coastline, where soft sandy beaches meet turquoise waters and gentle sea breezes set the pace. Our Beach Horseback Riding Experience offers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation, allowing you to connect with nature in one of the most scenic settings Belize has to offer.
As your horse moves rhythmically along the shoreline, you’ll take in uninterrupted ocean views, fresh coastal air, and the peaceful sounds of waves rolling in. Whether this is your first time on a horse or you’re an experienced rider, this experience is designed to be comfortable, memorable, and deeply rewarding.
All rides depart from Sand and Saddle Stables at Barefoot Services and head north along the beautiful beach for approximately 45 minutes. Participants will have an opportunity to dismount, take pic, enjoy a refreshing swim or capture memorable photos before head back south, completing a 2-hour experience.
The maximum weight for riders is 250 pounds to ensure the safety and comfort of both the horse and rider.

Tours in Rainy Weather
Yes, we do operate tours in light rain or drizzle. However, if a storm makes conditions unsafe, the tour would be rescheduled or canceled for everyone’s safety.
Beach Horseback Riding Experience
The beach ride is not entirely in the water. It is a scenic ride along the beach with optional opportunities to walk your horse into shallow waters if you wish.
Photography During the Tour
While we don’t officially provide photography services, our guides are usually happy to assist with taking photos for during the ride, as long as circumstances allow.
Transportation
The beach horseback riding experience begins and ends at the stable, and transportation is not included in the package price. We can arrange a taxi service for you. It will be an added cost.

Standard Individual DEPOSIT POLICY
To confirm a request, a nonrefundable deposit of US $25 is required immediately for a (one) service.
When they are booked individually. This does not apply for group services, group bookings, personalized itineraries, and other combined services.
The balance will be processed within 16 days of the service begin date.
All our rates are quoted in USD dollars.
Please consider that your card issuer may have international transaction fees.
Take note that US $1.00 is converted to Belize $2.00.
Barefoot Services reserves the right to charge or not charge your credit card a reservation deposit. This may apply to a repeat customer, a client who is deciding on other services, and other kinds of scenarios.
