Belize is about to get a whole lot closer for Canadian travelers, and that means more opportunities to explore the country with Barefoot Services. The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) has confirmed a major boost in seasonal flights from WestJet and Air Canada for the 2025–2026 winter season, offering more seats, earlier start dates, and longer schedules than ever before.
Starting October 30, 2025, WestJet will resume service from both Toronto and Calgary, running through May 10, 2026. The addition of Monday flights increases seat capacity by 45% compared to last year, giving travelers more flexibility to choose the perfect departure date.
From Calgary, WestJet will operate twice weekly until December 14, then increase to three flights a week (Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) until April 12, 2026. From Toronto, the schedule begins with two flights weekly until November 9, rises to three until December 14, and peaks at four weekly flights (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) during the high season.
Air Canada is adding even more options with its first-ever Montreal to Belize City route launching December 8, 2025. This route will operate twice weekly until March 2, 2026, then again from March 9 to April 6. Evening departures from Montreal will arrive in Belize City at 9:05 PM, perfect for next-day adventures. Air Canada will also offer select Toronto to Belize City flights on March 6, March 27, and April 10, 2026.
