Barefoot Services began over 15 years ago, back when the roads of Placencia Peninsula in Stann Creek, Belize, were still unpaved. Founders Ian and Megs Yearwood were just in their early 20s when they started the company, initially offering car rentals to meet the needs of visiting travelers. While we no longer provide rental vehicles, our dedication to helping guests plan and enjoy their trips remains unwavering. Today, our passionate team specializes in full-service vacations, airport transfers, and guided tours across Belize, ensuring every visitor experiences the country with ease, comfort, and local insight.
Additionally, we take pride in being a Belizean, family-owned, woman-led business. By supporting local businesses like ours, you are directly contributing to the communities we live in. As three generations of women, we intentionally reinvest in our local economy, with the hope of creating opportunities that benefit children and families across our communities. Empowering others and giving back is at the heart of everything we do—it is our greatest aspiration.

We create meaningful, authentic, and immersive Belize travel experiences that inspire connection, celebrate culture, and fulfill every journey.

To be Belize’s most trusted travel services provider—where our love for country shines through every journey we create, defined by authenticity, pride, and exceptional quality.
We have been providing travel and tourism services since 2004
