You get to spend some time at Ixcacao Chocolate which is one of the country first Belizean-Maya Chocolatier. Here you get to see where your chocolate really comes from. You will see a “chocolate plant”, a “chocolate seed” and even indulge in some Maya made hot chocolate and delicious chocolate samples. Juan and Abelina (Mayan owner of Ixcacao) will give you an incredible tour on the process of making your own chocolate starting from “seed” using heirloom stone tools.

This unique spice farm offers an aroma of a variety of genuine spices. Here you will our hands on cardamom, vanilla, allspice, nutmeg and black pepper plants. As you get deeper into this tour, you will discover the health, wealth and wonders of nature that this farm is gifted with. You get to touch and smell and taste these spices and learn about their origins, uses and how they are cultivated and processed. You will never look at your spice rack in the same way again. This is where a new love for spice will be awakened.
