At Barefoot services, you must meet our Belize car rental requirements before renting a vehicle. Barefoot Services offers SUV and Car rentals and charter and transfer services from Placencia and throughout Belize. Auto Rentals may be picked up or returned at any location within Belize.
Rentals are delivered and returned only at locations approved by Barefoot Services. Locations normally approved are: Hopkins, Dangriga, Punta Gorda, Belize Intl. Airport, Belize city, San Ignacio and Benque Viejo boarder with Guatemala.
General Rental Requirements:

- Valid credit card (VISA, MC, AMEX, Discover)
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Age 18 minimum for Scooter rentals
- Age 21 minimum Dirt Bike and Golf Cart rentals (Age 18 may be considered if valid motorcycle license is presented)
- Age 23 minimum for Auto rentals
- 2 days minimum for ADVANCE booking
- 1 day rental may be accommodated for last minute bookings.
